Analytical Leader

 Impact Analytical, a division of Michigan Molecular Institute, is seeking an Analytical Leader in inorganic spectroscopy. This is a scientific career track position. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, or MS in Analytical Chemistry with 1-5 years of experience, or a BS in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry emphasis) with 10 years of experience. Must apply the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of laboratory operations and utilization of laboratory equipment. Must be familiar with specific analytical laboratory instrumentation and general operations in a single analytical discipline (Inorganic Spectroscopy, including ICP-OES, AA)

The candidate will perform routine tasks in sample handling, logging, and preparation, prepare glassware, and perform laboratory maintenance. Must be able to interpret data, write detailed analytical reports and communicate with customers.

Desired Skills & Experience

Supervision of technologists, Theory and Operations of Inorganic Spectroscopy  (ICP-OES, AA), Project and Time Management, Experience in the Plastics/Chemical/Pharmaceutical Industries a plus, including GLP/cGMP guidelines.
